This was our third visit to Nikko's Grotto. We are always warmly welcomed, and our waitress is consistently knowledgeable, friendly, and highly professional. The food is of the highest quality, and the restaurant's atmosphere is very pleasant. I highly recommend their dinner.

I've had spaghetti bolognese and my boyfriend had the mussels pasta, we both loved our food. But if I went there again I would probably choose something with sea food cause they deserve the price better. Pasta and sauces were incredibly delicious, beautiful atmosphere and our waiter was so nice.

I had a delicious meal at Nick's grotto the other night. I was promptly seated and my order was taken quickly and professionally. My food came in a flash... Like 5 minutes or fewer. I had a generous portion of tortellini prawns goat cheese and artichoke hearts. It was piping hot and delicious. I had my fill with enough left for another meal. Lindsay and June were great. Thank you!

This is a hidden gem! The food was super fresh and incredibly delicious! Literally everything we ate was exceptional! The service was outstanding! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The energy was comfortable and welcoming! The atmosphere was a little dated but it did not take away from this experience at all! I will be back and I will highly recommend this place to everyone!

Restaurant was underground so it gave a very “hole-in-the-wall” vibe which was excellent. Nice music, low lighting, and perfect atmosphere. Service as quick and friendly. Food was absolutely amazing. We had calamari and crab cakes as apps which were phenomenal. Pork chops and ravioli for dinner was more filling than I thought. Wine selection was absolutely superb. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting port Townsend.

This cute Italian restaurant was a saving grace while we were visiting Port Townsend for the 4th of July. After walking the main street looking for food, the aroma of this spot is what pulled us in. The atmosphere was calm and dim, with a lowlight setting. Everything we ordered was a win, but the chicken parmigiana was my favorite; it was bursting with flavor! Pairing both pesto and marinara together was unique and I enjoyed the contrast in flavor. The chicken was crispy, but not overly salted, and our noodles for both dishes were al dente, offering a slight discernible resistance. I really wish I would have caught the name of our blond waiter, she was even more wonderful than the food and made us feel right at home. So, to the staff, thank you! 10/10 would recommend.

My partner and I stayed in Port Townsend for Valentine’s Day weekend and had a wonderful dinner at Nicko’s Grotto. Excellent service with a warm and inviting ambiance. We had the Valentine’s Day special bruschetta appetizer which was excellent; the caramelized onions, crispy shallots, and fig jam was an amazing combo. But the piece de resistance was the night’s ravioli special. Simple ricotta and spinach ravioli, coated in the perfect amount of cream sauce — the best cream sauce we have ever had. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an excellent, romantic dinner.

We had a great dinner at Nicko's.i had the carbonara, which was great. The server was friendly and provided great service. Nicko's is located downstairs and had a great atmosphere. We say near a very large group (10 people), so a bit loud... but not off putting. About 30 a plate for our meal... good wine options and family friendly.
